A leading authority in visual merchandising and store design, Preussker draws from 30 years of award-winning experience in the creative retail field. Preussker was most recently at Macy's West where he served as SrVP of Visual Merchandising and Store Design for 17 years. He has been widely recognized for his ability to master the fusion of design, growth, and profitability on any scale or proportion. Preussker's visionary reach has been instrumental in development and implementation of several Macy's Inc programs including the new store prototype, Juniors, Macy's Kids, Home Store and in store marketing.

Under Preussker's award-winning direction, Macy's West has been recognized by the retail industry as one of the most progressive leaders in its category. In 2000 he shared the award for Best Remodel of a flagship store, presented by the Institute of Store Planners. In 2001 the NASFM awarded Preussker and his team the Grand Prize for new store over 25,000 sq. ft. Preussker's work has received extensive national media coverage and has appeared in such premier trade publication as DDI and Retail Design. DDI has recognized Preussker as one of the top 50 most influential people in industry. He is a member in good standing with NASFM and NADI.
